

Katya Kozlova
Associate Director | Repetiteur
Katya Kozlova is an internationally recognized ballet artist, pedagogue, and cultural leader, currently serving as Associate Director and Repetiteur of Kyiv City Ballet. Her career seamlessly combines high-level performance, education, choreography, and international project leadership.
She has performed as a Principal Dancer with Kyiv City Ballet, and previously as a Soloist with St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre, as well as with other leading opera and ballet theaters. Her stage career has been complemented by extensive pedagogical and organizational work across Europe and the United States.
Katya is a laureate of international ballet competitions and a member of the International Dance Council (CID), official partner of UNESCO. Her work and artistic voice have been featured in major international media including National Geographic, Harper’s Bazaar, NBC, CNN, and The Times
She has taught master classes and educational programs in Germany, France, England, Scotland, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Ukraine, and the United States, and has been especially active in creating outreach programs for the next generation of artists.



Katya is a fully certified PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) teacher and is deeply involved in the development of sustainable ballet education systems. She has created outreach and educational programs in multiple countries, launched new training spaces, and developed children’s performances, interactive educational projects, intensives, and professional exchange platforms for dancers, pedagogues, and répétiteurs
.
Her students have continued their professional paths at leading institutions and companies including the Bavarian Junior Ballet Munich, Croatian National Theatre, National Opera of Ukraine, and other major European theaters
.
As a choreographer and stager, Katya has worked on both original creations and classical repertoire, including Tribute to Peace, Videtur, Reimagined, Ballet Alphabet, Paquita, Chopiniana, and The Nutcracker. Her productions and stagings have been presented across Europe and the United States and have received critical acclaim.
Katya Kozlova continues to play a key role in shaping the artistic vision, educational strategy, and international presence of Kyiv City Ballet, combining artistic excellence with long-term cultural impact.
